The 24th International Joint Conference of Sun Yat Sen and Soong Ching Ling Memorial held in Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, Singapore. It was organized by the Memorial Hall from 10 to 12 November 2012 and participated by over 70 representatives from various Sun Yat Sen and Soong Ching Ling museums all over the world to share on the respective museums’ programmes and to discuss on possible collaborations in the near future. Ms. Josephine Teo, Minister of State for Finance and Transport, was the Guest-of-Honour for the event held at Grand Park City Hall.
The Conference provided an invaluable opportunity for the Memorial Hall to engage with our international partners. We will continue to explore more collaborations with these overseas museums and to develop more programmes, exhibitions and activities in order to highlight Singapore’s contribution towards the Revolution.
